consideration: the enclosed copy of a letter from the Chief

Justice in which he recommends chat Mr.W.M. Goodman, Attorney

; General, and Mr.H.E.Pollock, Barrister-at-law in privace

: practice. in this Colony and who has acced both as Attorney-

: General and Puisne: Judge,should be elevated to the rank of

Queen's Counsel.

Both these gentlemen are in my opinion

- worthy of the distinction, and I strongly recommend for your

: favourable consideration.
